Owner of Yourcare, Susan McLaren, has many years of experience within caring. She has worked in a hospital environment, nursing home and also in the community in people’s homes.
Susan started caring in her original home of the Lake District where she used to look after her Grandmother (Nanna as she liked to be called.) She helped her Nanna with her everyday chores and also became a companion - Nanna always looked forward to her visits! Susan learnt that it’s the smallest jobs and companionship that is one of the main keys that help people get by in everyday life. After the years of care that Susan has given to people she decided to form her own company which is YourCare.

Yourcare has a team of professional health carers that take great pride in their professional and quality orientated approach – all are NVQ2 trained, CRB checked and extra training has been given to adopt a very high standard of care which will be delivered to all you. YourCare provides a non-medical service to you but all your needs will be met and tailored individually from housekeeping to your own personal care and companionship.
